Vintage Simple Halloween Treats

Welcome back to the Full Life Crew Blog. This was by far a simple and easy Halloween treat. Many ideas you run across nowadays are pretty intimidating. I shy away from most of them. I grew up pretty poor in a little town of Sulphur, Louisiana. My Mom was a cooking and sewing master. This simple treat brought me back to my younger days when my Mom could whip up something simple but impactful. It also filled me with that fall spirit. Fall and Halloween are great times. They bring out the kid in me.

Recipe:

Betty Crocker Cake Mix (Chocolate)

Pillsbury Icing

Food Coloring

Pretzels

I made the cupcakes following the recipe on the box. For the icing I just added orange food coloring and green food coloring. After I put the orange icing on I put a pretzel in for the stem and used green icing for the vine.

It was so simple quick and easy. They turned out really nice. Not sure if the food network or pinterest will approve but they only lasted minuets after being set on the table. Kids loved them mission accomplished. If I can give them that little something extra for the fall and Halloween season with out breaking the bank and investing hours it is a win win.

Extra Tip:

If you have never been to an RV park around Halloween you are missing out. They usually have fun events for the kids. There are also alot of adventure froms with lots of fall things to do. many allow boondocking and regular camping. RV Share is a great resource if you do not have an RV. Visit RV Share and plan your next great adventure.
