Sulphur High School's locker room upgrades help restore tradition

Coach Adam Coleman of the Sulphur Golden Tornado's Basketball team was asked what one key factor has contributed to their best season start since 2006?

Who Is Coach Coleman?

It has been very rewarding to restore the tradition that comes along with being a part of Tornado basketball. We have upgraded the player facilities, the gym, uniforms, etc... that helps restore the pride in our program.

In just three years time, we have eclipsed a 20 win season and have had back to back playoff appearances. With each senior class, they are leaving behind a legacy and higher standard to achieve.

The most recent addition has been the locker room. We were able to get new lockers, benches, carpet, etc... This was something the team really needed and it has helped us take another step in the right direction.

The Players have their name above their locker with lockable storage. Each player has their own chair in their locker. These are the things you see at the college level. We wanted our players to know we care about them.

As we look ahead to the 2022/2023 season, we are excited about what lies ahead. We have a lot of young talent coming up through the ranks and they are eager to put on a show for our fans. The future is bright for Tornado basketball!
