Louisiana country music break out artist Jason Stutes is an up an coming artist. Jason is a Father of five working as a body shop owner in southwest Louisiana. His music career was inspired by his father. Playing music with his Dad while he was young created a love for music. Jason uses music to share his passion for life. Jason's Dad, Mike Stutes also had a great love for life. Mike never met a stranger and always had a story to tell. Great musicians are great story tellers. Jason has that same great ability like his Dad to tell a story.

Jason's personal story is everyone's story, love, life, pain, and repeat. Jason has a vision on life now, that allows him to reflect on the events in his life, that have made into the man he is today. He has been working steady on his music career while building a business and raising his family. He has been a source of strength for many in his life. And he knows he has been a source of pain for others. Recognizing this yen and yang to life at this point in his musical career allows him to tell the story better than most. Many Country music stars are picked up for some reason or other when they are young. After that sometimes, it is less about the music and more about the image record companies are trying to sell Jason is just started to peak in his 40's. He's music is solid and consistent like a good glass of bourbon. You know what you will get and what to expect with Stutes. He is not looking for glory and fame. So worrying if his music will turn to country pop will not happen. He is wanting to share a story, which is what he does best. He is passing on what his Dad gave to him for our enjoyment.

Like a good gumbo his life has had many wow moments and oh wow moments. Just in the last 18 months Jason has had to deal with covid-19 and running a business in this environment. Southwest Louisiana was also battered by two powerful hurricanes. Many business and homes still have not fully recovered. Just recently he lost his Father Mike Stutes, one of Jason's main sources of inspiration for his music career. We have all heard the story in the Bible when Jesus says, "I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds." (Jn 12:24-25). I believe this will ring true, Mike's influence on Jason will grow into many seeds. All this has happened in the last 18 months and this Jason has lived a life. Jason has many stories, stories you and I can relate to in our lives.

I think Jason Stutes is gold mine with not stake on the claim. To find true authentic country music in the land of country pop is tough today. Jason is working on some new and exciting things coming soon.
